Facing the Giants

The kids and I watched this movie today, and it's one of the best movies I've seen in a really long time. The acting had some rough patches, but the message and the heart that was in this movie far surpasses any weaknesses it might have.

If you don't really like football, don't let that scare you away from it. It's really not all about football, and there is a nice side story with the coach and his wife.

When you have a free night, make a run to the video store and rent this movie. It's absolutely wonderful!

  1. I'm confused... didn't you post this a couple of days ago, and I commented?

  2. Yes, but remember how I was trying to post the trailer from youtube and I couldn't get it to work. Well, it finally decided to show up, so I just got rid of the old one.

  3. I liked this movie a lot too. Acting is kinda cheesy, yes, but the message is so good. The people who made this movie have an older movie called Flywheel (Netflix is trying to get another copy) and also a new one (can't remember the title) coming out next year.
