Palisade State Park

Every year we go with Troy's family to Palisade State Park. It's a lot of fun, and this year was definitely better than last year, because Ethan slept this year! Camping is a lot more fun when you aren't trying to keep a baby quiet all night. As always, there will be a lot of pictures.

Here's Kevin with the lake in the background. Kevin is always happy and rarely in a bad mood. I love that about him.

Brian and Annabelle are always so prepared, and bring the coolest toys. The kids loved playing in these bumper boat things. They also pulled water up from the lake that you could shoot like water guns at each other. The only downside to these things is that they take batteries, and I bet they run through them pretty quick.
We rented a couple paddleboats, and they were really fun taking all over the lake. Here's Troy about to take a bunch of the kids out. One time Troy and I went out on the lake with a couple of the kids, and the wind was really blowing so we were getting some waves. That was fun.

Ethan didn't seem to be feeling good this trip. Besides throwing up the first night, and having diarrhea, he just didn't seem to want to do much. He was still a good boy, though.
Kaitlyn and Grandpa Price. Kaitlyn wasn't too happy because on Saturday we had decided we'd leave as soon as we were packed up. All the rest of the kids were going swimming and playing in the water, so she felt really bad. Then I started feeling bad, because there's only a limited amount of time that they will be able to build memories like this, so we decided to stay until lunchtime.
Here's another water toy that Brian and Annabelle brought. Thank goodness for them; they made the trip a lot more fun for the kids!
I really don't know what the kids were doing here. Those are Kaitlyn's legs. I don't think this is the time, but there was one point when Kaitlyn was trying to help Kevin and Ethan get in the raft, and she flipped the turtle over, face first. It was pretty funny.

Brian and Penny were out in the water, shooting each other with the water guns, and we told them they really should just get on the boats. It would be much more fun (for us watching, anyway). Penny helped Brian get on, but then she really couldn't get on herself.
