Ready for the Heat!

We made a trip to Old Navy for flip flops, and now we're just waitin on the warm weather. I love going there to get flip flops, because they only cost 2 for $5, so we got a bunch. Kevin got one pair (because I wasn't sure if he'd like to wear them or not) and the rest are mine and Kaitlyn's. Her feet are almost the same size as mine, but not quite there yet.

I also found that the patterned flip flops in the women's section were twice as much, but the ones in the kid section were the same as the solids. So I got some for me from the kid section. That'll teach them a lesson.

  1. Super cute! I sometimes buy size 16 shirts in the kid's section because they are the same size as adult smalls. I like to teach them a lesson, too.

Being that I am new here, do you take your kids to a pool in the summer? If so, which pool and how much does it cost?

  3. Cute flip flops! I used to not like flip flops, but I bought a pair a few years ago and broke 'em in and now they're not too bad. :-)

  4. You are one smart cookie. I also have to tell you that your interest in cathedrals is one of the most interesting things I've come across on blogs. How is it that you are able to travel to these wonderful places?

  5. I need to get more flip flops for the summer. They are so comfortable to wear, especially when it's so hot outside! I love the ones you got. :)

  6. I went to Old Navy today, because your post made me want some new flip flops. I went to the one by Southtowne Mall and they didn't have any of the pattern one's. I'm going to check Jordan Landing.

  7. We went to the one at Jordan Landing. The patterned ones in the women's section weren't right next to the solids, though.
