Important Questions Answered
Kevin: "I know where Jesus is."
Me: "Where?" (at this point, I fully expected him to say Heaven)
Kevin: "In his house."
Me: "Where's his house?"
Kevin: "At the North Pole."
Me: "The North Pole?"
Kevin: "Yeah, by Santa's house."
Me: "I think Jesus is in Heaven.
Kevin: "Yeah, I saw him there."
Me: "What was he doing?"
Kevin: "They were fixing birdhouses."
So there you have it. If you ever wonder where Jesus is, and what he's doing, just ask your kids. I bet they'll have an answer.

Today we mourn the death of . . .

And here we have evidence of the deadness of the plant. Look at it just lying there with it's lifeless eyes. Now I have to try to figure out what it is, and go buy more.

Daughtry Concert

Even the pictures of the screens, which were obviously much bigger didn't turn out great. This was one of the better ones. I wish we could have had some better pictures of Chris, cause that man is hot. Don't tell Troy I said that.

If you wish you were at the concert with me, so you could see what I saw, well, here you go. This was what I saw for a good half of the concert. This girl refused to get down off her chair for the longest time. And the six and a half foot gentleman in front of us didn't help things either.
Even with all that, I would pay the $80 for tickets, and drive the 10 hours (each way) again in a heartbeat to see Daughtry.
Ethan's First Birthday
He really wasn't too interested in blowing out the candle. I think that might have had something to do with the fact that he doesn't know how to blow. He was trying to be macho and make the candle go out with his hand, but his dad had to ruin it for him.
Here is where the cake eating began. Very innocent. Very little mess. Just takin it easy with the cake.
This is the look of a boy who is guilty of no wrongdoing. He's doing what every one year old should do on their birthday, which is make a mess with the cake. But see the fork? We are nothing if not civilized in this household.
Ethan was having none of the present opening. It was almost a form of torture for him, and if I would have just let him go, he could have gotten onto something he actually wanted to do. Unfortunately, I didn't know what that was, so I was very little help.

And finally, we come to the picture that belongs in the album of every child's first birthday party. The boob shot. It's nice to know that after 8 years, Troy still appreciates me.
